Surbhi to play lead

After Surbhi Chandna quit Ishqbaaaz, fans have been waiting for her to make a comeback on the small screen. Though there is no official announcement yet, reports suggest that the actress will be seen playing the lead in Sanjivani’s remake on Star Plus. Surbhi is currently seen posing for photoshoots and constantly keeps posting pictures on social media. If reports are to be believed, fans will be more than thrilled to watch her in an all-new avatar. 

In the original show, while female lead, Dr Juhi’s role was played by Gurdeep Kohli, the male lead was actor Mohnish Behl. The show was extremely popular in the early 2000’s. Meanwhile, Surbhi had recently bid farewell to Ishqbaaaz and had posted on her Instagram, “Signing off as YOUR KHIDKITOD ANNIKA with gratitude and affection.I promise to be back with a bang and entertain you all in a new avatar very soon.”
