The cover-up story
Aditya Narayan, who is currently hosting Zee TV’s Li’l Champs, shared a funny incident. He said, “Once a year, I usually take a break and check into a hotel in the city to use their facilities and relax. On one of these stays, I was in my room just after a bath wearing a towel and decided to place the dishes in which food was served to me outside the door. Unfortunately, the door closed behind me before I could even hold it back and locked me out of the room. Wrapped in just a towel and all alone, my only option was to go down to the reception and get a new key.”
He adds, “At the same time, there was a big wedding happening at the hotel so when the lift door opened, it was packed with people wearing dressed in their best attire for the wedding while I looked very embarrassed and stood facing them in just a towel. On the way down, everyone started recognizing me and turned out that the bride was a huge fan of mine. So, I didn’t quite make it to the hotel reception but instead, they dragged me out and very soon, I found myself sitting between the bride and groom at their reception clad in a towel only!”
