Prints, bright colours and print on print is what we got to see in the latest collection showcased by Mexican designer Joel Salazar for Mexican brand Yoemor in his collection titled Maria 2019, which was inspired by Mexican actress Maria Felix, during the inauguration of the 71st edition of Intermoda in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.  As the models showcased the looks on the ramp, it immediately reminded us of all things Indian, when it comes to fashion that is. Starting with bold bright hues in the likes of corals, conservative hemlines and silhouettes that flatter the body of a well-endowed woman.  The collection, however, was not in stark difference from the designers last year’s collection showcased in 2018 for the same label, that also primarily featured prints, a lot of tropical leaf inspired prints, juxtaposed in bold colours. The  drama  was added by accessories.—TNS
