Producer Ronnie Screwvala has stated that it was high time trade analysts in India started reporting accurate box-office numbers. The producer, who recently co-produced the film The Sky Is Pink, tagged trade analysts like Komal Nahta and Taran Adarsh in his tweet, seeking more credibility.

The producer, who has films like The Sky Is Pink, Rang De Basanti and Jodhaa Akbar to his credit, said he was still not sure when the studios backing the films in the Indian film industry will stop supplying inflated earning figures. 

Meanwhile, trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted in response to Ronnie’s post and said asking for accurate box-office numbers was like asking for too much in this country! Nahta also tweeted that till the time producers, exhibitors and distributors did not provide actual figure from the box-office collections, it was indeed very difficult to report actual numbers.
