Fitness means being healthy and physically fit. It’s not just about having a good body and muscles but how active you are throughout the day. In short one should be able to work and relax comfortably

My funda

Eat healthy, sleep early and no matter what, exercise for at least half an hour a day. Following this makes me active enough to carry out the daily activities without laziness. Trust me these three things have stood the test of time.

And mental well being too 

The secret to a sound mind is linked to the physical output  because when you exercise you always live the present without thinking about your past or future. And that’s the way to keep your mind and body fit. Meditation also helps in maintaining a strong and health mind, passing those benefits to the body as well.

Have a proper regimen

I make sure I eat five small meals a day, which is very necessary. I also carry some fruits and dry fruits with me to my work so I can munch them on at the time of small hunger breaks. I don’t take soft drinks at all and try to avoid junk food. These little things help me maintain my good health even when I have a hectic work schedule

My favourite snack  

Most conveniently and tasty too, I find that protein chocolate and peanut butter with bread make the perfect snacks.

My cheat food

It is hard to resist Gajar ka halwa made in desi ghee by my mom and grandmother. I just dig into it whenever it is made and cheat on my diet. 

Words of wisdom 

I would ask everyone to eat healthy food for at least five days a week, drink loads of water and have plenty of fruits. Also, most importantly, exercise for at least half an hour every day. A fit body and a fit mind will boost your personality and your confidence. Take that first step today.
