Vishal Dadlani ‘wanted to call police’, when Neha Kakkar was forcibly kissed on TV

Music composer and reality show judge Vishal Dadlani has opened about the recent incident on the India Idol show, when his co-judge Neha Kakkar was forcibly kissed on stage by a man. 

In a tweet, Vishal revealed he had advised to “call the police” but “Neha decided to let the guy off the hook.”

Replying to a fan’s comment on the incident, Vishal said the man “needs psychiatric help”

The fan wrote: “@VishalDadlani sir uss launde ko chamet maarni chahiye thi (Sir you should have slapped the guy).. how dare he do such a thing.. I hope he was not let off easily.” 

I suggested that the Police be called, but Neha decided to let the guy off the hook. He definitely needs psychiatric help, and we will try to help him get that, if we can.

To which, Vishal replied: “I suggested that the Police be called, but Neha decided to let the guy off the hook. He definitely needs psychiatric help, and we will try to help him get that, if we can. #IndianIdol11.”

Earlier, Sony Entertainment Television had shared a promo clip on Twitter, where a man dressed in Rajasthani outfit appears for an audition and requests Neha to come on stage. 

The man asks Neha if she recognises him but she does not. She reaches out to give him a hug but the man forcibly plants a kiss on her cheek.

Along with the two, host Aditya Narayan was also on stage. He pushed the man away after initial shock.

Neha has been a judge on the show for two seasons now. She is a popular singer who has sung songs such as Manali Trance, Dilbar, Coca Cola and Aankh Maare.

Last week, all the contestants dazzled you with their soulful and powerhouse singing but this week is going to be even more mesmerizing. Watch Sat-Sun at 8 PM. .
