When Barkha gets surprised

Actress Barkha Bisht Sengupta, who was last seen in the Vivek Oberoi-starrer PM Narendra Modi, is currently essaying the role of Tarini in Sony Entertainment Television’s magnum opus show, Chandragupta Maurya. The actress has been away from home as the show’s sets are based in Umergaon. Shooting in locations away from home means missing friends and family, but Barkha’s loving husband Indraneil Sengupta did something very sweet for her. Indraneil had long been planning to surprise his wife by visiting the sets with their daughter Meera and immediately got in touch with the production crew to make the meeting a special one.

Speaking about the special surprise, Barkha said, “I was totally awestruck and overwhelmed when I saw him and my little princess Meera in front of me; it totally made my day. The shoots are going on and the schedules are hectic and because of this, I was unable to get even a day off to meet my family. So, my lovely husband Indraneil, who never leaves a chance to surprise us, made both my daughter’s and my day by bringing her to the sets of Chandragupta Maurya. About to start with the day’s schedule, I was all dressed up in my character when I saw them walking towards me. It was a splendid moment.”
