When Neelu played Abhishek’s mom

Film Manmarziyan has been getting all the love and appreciation from the audience. The film has a powerful supporting cast, which includes TV actress Neelu Kohli, who plays Abhishek Bachchan’s mother in the movie. This is not the first time Neelu is seen as junior Bachchan’s mother. Neelu shares, “It was such a wonderful association. I remember working with Abhishek in the movie Run. That was quite some time back and I was new to the industry. When I met Abhishek on the set this time in Amritsar, I initially thought he won’t remember the film Run. But he did, I was surprised and at the same time so happy.”

Neelu adds, “When I started with Manmarziyaan, I was also doing Naamkarann on television. Today I would like to share that both the parties have been immensely helpful. The dates have been adjusted well, so I could give one month’s time to the film. But there was a phase when the schedule was so hectic that I was almost shooting for 48 hours, and used to hop and jump from Mumbai to Amritsar.”
