After giving two hit movies together, Varun Dhawan will reportedly reunite with father David Dhawan for the remake of 1999 comedy, Biwi No. 1, which starred Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor. The father-son duo has earlier worked in Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2. Shares a source, “The discussions are presently at a nascent stage. The Dhawans will start work on the film in the coming year. Biwi No.1 is one of Varun’s favourite films and he is excited to collaborate with his father once again.”

Besides Salman and Karishma, Biwi No. 1 also featured Anil Kapoor, Tabu and Saif Ali Khan in cameo roles. The movie revolved around Prem, played by Salman, who is married to a traditional wife. He falls in love with a model but gets caught red-handed. However, the model dumps him for her career and he comes back to his wife eventually.
