Abhishek to play young Sai Baba

Abhishek Nigam, a young talent who is steadily cementing his position in the television industry, will be seen playing the role of young Sai in Mere Sai. On the completion of 100 years of the momentous event when Sai Baba took samadhi in Shirdi, Sony Entertainment Television will bring alive the story of Shraddha and Shaburi through its upcoming show Mere Sai on September 25. The show will also see Abeer Soofi as Sai along with Toral Rajput, Vaibhav Mangle and Hemant Thatte in the supporting cast.

Shares Abhishek Nigam, “I am excited and honoured to portray the role. The biggest challenge for me was to get the look right given that I have sharp features and a tough appearance, whereas the look of Sai is more calm and composed. However, everything just fell in place.”
