The keenly-awaited Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Bala is about a young man dealing with premature balding. Directed by Stree film fame Amar Kaushik, the quirky film features an interesting ensemble cast, including Yami Gautam and Javed Jaffrey. Saurabh Shukla and Seema Pahwa support the lead stars.

Legendary Mukesh’s grandson and actor Neil Nitin Mukesh’s brother, Naman Nitin Mukesh, makes his debut as director with  Bypass Road. The viewers will see Neil Nitin Mukesh as a wheelchair-bound paraplegic. The actor has also penned the screenplay of the film, which also stars Adah Sharma, Shama Sikander, Gul Panag, Rajit Kapur, Manish Chaudhari, Sudhanshu Pandey, Taher Shabbir, Errol Marks and Mukesh Bhatt.

Suraj Pancholi, who made his debut in Bollywood with Hero in 2015, is back with Satellite Shankar and plays a soldier in his new film. South Indian actor Megha Akash makes her debut in Bollywood.

Upendra Limaye, Palomi Ghosh, Anil K. Reji support the lead stars. Salman Khan appears in a cameo.

Doctor Sleep

It is a psychological horror film. Traumatised by the sinister events that occurred at the Overlook Hotel, when Danny Torrance was a child, he struggles with alcoholism, until he finds a purpose.

Dany realises that he had formed a psychic connection with a girl who shared his ‘shining’ ability. This is effectively a sequel to Stephen King’s, The Shining. 

The film also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Kyliegh Curran, Carl Lumbly, Zahn McClarnon, Emily Alyn Lind, Bruce Greenwoed, Alex Essoe, Cliff Curtis and Jocelin Danahue. 

Midway

This is Roland Emmerich’s first war movie since The Patriot(2000) and second collaboration with Woody Harrelson and Roland Emmerich. 

Midway is a war film based on the story of the attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent Battle of Midway. The film features Ed Skrein, Patrick Wilson, Luke Evans, Aaron Eckhart, Nick Jonas, Mandy Moore, Dennis Quaid and Woody Harrelson.

Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da

Producers: Munna Shukul, Shikha Sharma and Sukhvinder Singh.

Director: Sagar S Sharma

Punjabi film Mitran Nu Shonk Hathyaran Da features Deep Joshi, Preet Baath, Mahira Hora and Sidhi Ahuja. It is based on a story of the youth from Punjab and captures every shade of Punjab.
