Ram Gopal Varma, who is one of the most active members of social media, has quit Twitter. In a surprising tweet on Saturday evening, RGV shared this news with his followers. He wrote, “My pleasantly unpleasant surprise is I am getting out of Twitter...To all my followers, no thanks for following me all these years.” However, he added that he would now be active on Instagram and would “speak only through pictures and videos.”
Last week, it was singer Sonu Nigam who quit Twitter after his colleague Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s account was suspended for abusive tweets. He will surely be missed.
