You have worked in many different languages. How do you manage it?
I have done Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu, and Odia also. When you are doing a film it’s not really different, the art and the process is the same. It’s just that when I’m in Bengal, I’m pampered more.
What made you say yes to Love Sleep Repeat?
Well, it’s my third project with ZEE5. Before this, I’ve done a book adaptation of Ruskin Bond and another serious role. This one is more fun and the youth will enjoy it. Moreover, the director is really good. He has done the film Dolly Ki Doli.
What would you like to change in the industry?
I think Hindi is fine, but in Bengal, I feel the budgets should increase.
What is the one project closest to you?
Choker Bali is my favorite and that was the turning point in my career.
How do you keep your mind and body fit?
I try to stay positive, always. This helps to keep your mind fit and ultimately leads to keeping your body fit as well.
What fitness advice would you give?
Outdoor sports are very important to build stamina. Hence, anyone can pick one such sport to stay fit. Give equal time to everything and balance your life to be healthy.
