Darr, one of Shah Rukh Khan’s remarkable movies, has inspired Star Bharat’s new show Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan, based on the concept of stalking.Watching Shah Rukh Khan play a lover-turned-stalker making Juhi Chawla’s life a living hell, was an eye-opener for the Indian society. It brought the audience face-to-face with stalking. 

With an attempt to empower women and combat such evil practices, the channel brings the story of Rani and her stalker Rivaaj, which is the story of every common girl in India. It is said that the upcoming show is the remake of the movie, which was much loved and appreciated for its concept. Shares a source, “Such shows are needed to bring a positive change in the society.”
