Kangana’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ trailer released

Kangana Ranaut’s much awaited historic tale ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ released its trailer on Tuesday.
The upcoming movie is an Indian historical biographical film based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi.
The trailer is three minutes long and has left us wanting more. It narrates the life of ‘Rani Lakshmi Bai.’ It also has glimpses of Manikarnika's wedding to Maharaja of Jhansi, Raja Gangadhar Rao Newalkar and her naming ritual that followed.
A few minutes into the trailer, As Jhansi appears to be in great danger when the East India Company tries to seize Jhansi.
It portrays Rani Laxmi Bai's transformation from a young widow to a warrior queen, who is determined to serve the people of Jhansi with every drop of her blood and sweat.
The historic tale is directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti.
