Karan, Jia roped-in for Meri Hanikarak Biwi

Adding elements of drama and comedy to its bouquet of fiction offerings, &TV will soon launch another comedy show titled Meri Hanikarak Biwi. For the first time ever on Indian television, the show will put forth the bold concept of vasectomy in front of the viewers, but in the most light-hearted manner. Essaying the lead role of Akhilesh Pandey will be actor Karan Suchak, while doctor Ira’s role will be played by Jia Shankar. Says Karan, “I’m extremely happy to be on board for a show with such a bold and outstanding concept. Currently, I’m working on the nuances of my character, which is that of a simple, innocent and honest boy from Varanasi.”  Adds Jia, “The concept of the show is exceptionally interesting. I am looking forward.”
