The film, a romantic comedy involving a family in England, is the story of Inder (played by Binnu Dhillon) who falls in love with a Pakistani girl Bilkis (Mandy Takhar) brought up by a Punjabi family in Wolverhampton.

Written, co-produced and directed by Ritesh Batra, Photograph stars Sanya Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. The film is a coming of age romance drama about a street photographer (Nawazuddin) who convinces a girl (Sanya Malhotra) to pose as his fiancée just so he doesn’t have to face his grandmother’s wrath.
