After Bombay Talkies in 2013, Bollywood’s ace directors Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee have reunited for an anthology titled Lust Stories, which will have a digital release on June 15.

Each of the directors will have his own short film in the assembled venture. The trailer of Lust Stories was launched in Mumbai on Friday in the presence of the cast as well as the four directors and one of the producers Ronnie Screwvala.

The trailer opens with Radhika Apte’s dialogue from Anurag Kashyap’s film that sets the mood for Lust Stories. “You can’t hurt someone you love, intentionally you don’t. But you only hurt those you love!” she says. Radhika plays a professor who gets in a physical relationship with one of her students. Next story, directed by Zoya Akhtar shows Bhumi Pednekar in a relationship with her house owner’s son.

The third story is by Karan Johar and it features Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Neha Dhupia. It seems to be a story of a lesbian caught in the cage of an arranged-marriage. The last short film in Lust Stories is by director Dibakar Banerjee that shows Manisha Koirala as a married woman who seeks happiness in the arms of her husband’s (Sanjay Kapoor) friend (Jaideep Ahlawat).
