Portraying 10 Mahakali avatars

Sony TV’s Vighnaharta Ganesh has been regaling audiences across the nation with the unheard stories of Lord Ganesh. Now, the makers are all set to enthral viewers with the narration of the stories of 10 avatars of Mahakali. Every avatar has an interesting story of origin, which will be presented with great special effects and state-of-the-art cosmetic appearance of the Goddess.

The production team did extensive research with religious scriptures to design the look of 10 different goddesses — Mahakali, Tara, Shodashi, Bhuvaneshwari, Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Baglamukhi, Matangi, Kamala and Chhinnamasta. 

Akanksha Puri, who essays the role of Parvati on the show, said, “With the upcoming track of the 10 avatars of Mahakali, I am truly excited. A team of 15 professionals worked for a record time within three days to ensure that all the unique looks were perfect.”
