Rupa, Tai is her rock; Sonali cannot thank her support system enough

Sonali Bendre has the best sister in the world. Her elder sister has been there for her since the first day of Sonali’s treatment for cancer.
On July 4, Sonali told the world that she was detected with a ‘high-level cancer’.
Sonali has kept her fans in the loop about her treatment and throughout her journey she has been such an inspiration to the world.
The entire credit of keeping Sonali strong goes to her sister, her Rupa ‘Tai’. (Elder sister is addressed in Marathi as‘Tai’).
Sonali shared a post on Instagram baring her heart out to her sister. She says, “She dropped everything in a heartbeat to be with me on this journey. She has been my rock...my person… Rupa Tai was involved in my journey from when I was diagnosed to the time I was deciding the course of treatment to packing her bags and coming with me to New York. She was there from get-go. I am forever indebted to her sister.’’
Rupa has been there for Sonali through thick and thin over the last six months of her treatment.
People on reading the emotional Instagram post on Friday thanked Rupa for looking after Sonali.
