Shenaz and her Big venture

Shenaz Treasurywala is all set for her next big Hollywood film—The Big Sick. She seems to be capturing Hollywood slow and steady. 

In the past six years, she’s been in numerous films and shows in Hollywood, small and big roles. Counted among the most awaited movies of the year, its release is scheduled on July14 worldwide. The cast of the movie is equally enticing having Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, Ray Ramano, Anupam Kher and others. Shenaz is playing the role of a Pakistani daughter-in-law of Anupam Kher in the movie.

When asked about The Big Sick, Shenaz quoted, “The Big Sick is the story about two families, a Pakistani family and an American family. The Pakistani family has lived in America for a long time but is still subjected to racism. This is a very good time for the movie to come out because of all that is happening in America right now. I play a young Pakistani girl. I am Anupam Kher’s daughter- in- law in the film. We are Pakistanis but also Americans.”
