Every day we walk by hundreds of potential subject matters that could be turned into an amazing photograph. Photographers are the ones who sort all the chaos of the world into images. They teach us to look again, look harder and look through their eyes. Some of the young generation photographers share their passion for photography.
Power of possibilities
Dixit Chopra, 24, took up photography to become a famous cinematographer. He completed his graduation in computer engineering from Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran. He participated in photography competition but at that time he did not have a DSLR camera, so he borrowed one from his friend. He won several prizes in these competitions, which motivated him to pursue a career in photography. To promote his photography, he created an Instagram page and named it as ‘cameraboydeekscy’. In his opinion, “Theory is not everything, practical knowledge makes for a stronger foundation.” So, he started doing freelance music videos. He has worked with some amazing artistes such as Badshah, Neha Kakkar, Ninja, Jassi Gill, Jubin Nautiyal and others.
Quality is the key
Paras Mendiratta, 22, is also a freelance photographer with a keen interest in sports and wedding photography. He says, “I love to freeze action and capture lifelong memories for the clients on their big day.” He graduated in Journalism and Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University, Delhi. Active on social media as ‘paras.mendiratta.clicks’, he shares, “I draw inspiration from many photographers and believe in being a good service provider. ”
Nature capturer
Vishal Bisht, 23, is a travel photographer, who completed his graduation in BCA from Delhi. He also makes short films and does cinematography. He has an Instagram page called ‘wolfonvacation’ and loves to click pictures that showcase culture and emotions, those that have some message behind them. Recently, he released some beautiful shots depicting the culture of Uttarakhand and their famous jagar ceremonies.
More than fun
Soumesh Pandey, 20, dreams to capture stories from around the world. A graduate in geography honors, he had a creative bent of mind since his school days. He was invited by three colleges of Delhi University to take a workshop on photography. Something that started as fun soon became a passion. After posting his initial pictures on Facebook, he is now on Instagram as ‘camerawalebhaiya’.
