Tweeted trouble

Priyanka Chopra was made the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador back in December 2016. Well, recently, an online petition has been started against the actress in Pakistan to remove her as the Goodwill Ambassador. Reportedly, the petition is signed against the actress as she congratulated the Indian Armed Force for the surgical strike that was conducted on Pakistan by India on February 26. After the strike, Priyanka took to her Twitter and wrote, “Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces.”

According to the petition, despite being the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Priyanka cheered for war and hence, an urge has been initiated to remove her. The UN and the UNICEF have been tagged in the online petition. No comment has been received from Priyanka nor UNICEF yet.
