What a sweet gesture...
Sonu Sood, who has been appreciated for his negative roles in films such as Dabangg and Simmba, is winning hearts off-screen as well. The actor recently made a quick trip to Sri Lanka, just to attend a fan’s wedding. Sonu, who has made a mark in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industry, flew down to attend Madara W Hemachandra’s wedding. He says, “When you are doing movies, you meet a few people who become a part of your family and friend circle. Madara is one of my most special fans. Any news about me that appears on the web, she is the first one to share it with me.”
He adds, “I remember, when I visited Sri Lanka for the first time, she came with her family and I was very happy to meet them. We bonded well and when they wanted me to come for her wedding, I thought if I could do this little thing, it would make her happy and we will be making memories. I had to alter my schedule a little bit. When I requested my director, even he was surprised.”
