Loot story fake: Cops

The police have claimed to have cracked the case of loot involving Rs 1.8 lakh from Parveen Kumar, employee of a private hospital. The police stated that the case was fake.
The police said Parveen and his friends concocted the loot story. The police arrested Parveen, Deepak and Vikram, residents of Bastara village. They seized Rs 1.8 lakh and impounded the motorcycle used.
Raj Kumar Ranga, SHO, Madhuban, said they got information on October 25 that two unidentified persons looted Parveen of Rs 1.8 lakh near Bastara village on the National Highway-44.
When they grilled Parveen, he admitted that he had concocted the story, said the SHO. “We have added Sections 406, 408, 420 and 120-B of the IPC after removing Section 379-B of the IPC,” he said.— TNS
