1,500 enthusiasts take part in ‘Run for Health’

Ludhiana, March 10
Shree Atam Vallabh Jain College, Ludhiana, organised the second ‘Run for Health’ outside Guru Nanak Stadium.
The youth club of the college took an effort towards a common purpose of exploring new ways to improve human life.
Dr Nirmal Jaura, Director, Department of Youth Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh, was the chief guest on the occasion.
He flagged off the run. More than 1,500 runners from schools, colleges, self-employed and corporate sectors from various areas of Punjab dressed up in white, were seen on roads.
Such events enthuse and encourage citizens to adopt a fitness-oriented and healthy lifestyle.
The runners committed to promote health and wellness of individuals and nation at large through the joy of the sport of running.
“Health is the most valuable and precious thing for every individual in life. Students need to balance their schedule in such a way that their health is not compromised,” said patron of the college managing committee, Ashwani Jain.
