10 held on gambling charge

Ludhiana: The Division No 8 police have nabbed 10 persons on the charge of gambling

Ludhiana: The Division No. 8 police have nabbed 10 persons on the charge of gambling. The police have recovered Rs 90,000 from them. The suspects have been identified as Balwinder Singh, Manpreet Singh, Vinod Kumar, Vimal Kumar, Neeraj Khular, Mohan Lal, Monty Sharma, Deepak Sharma and Hemant Sharma. The police said after getting a tip-off, a raid was conducted at Balmiki Park and the suspects were nabbed red-handed. A case under the Gambling Act has been registered. TNS
