17.2 m long eco bookmark finds place in Limca records

Ludhiana, April 25

Students of Mount Litera Zee School, Ludhiana, made the longest eco bookmark, measuring 17.2 metres by 1.8 metres. The school has put its best foot forward to make a permanent place in the Limca Book of Records 2018.

It took six months of hardwork to create the bookmark. In total 18 students and seven teachers made the bookmark by using flex, old newspapers, magazines, old clothes, jute sacks, ropes and other material.

It has been built on the theme “Bringing Together-United Nations-uniting the 193 UN member states, their capitals, monuments and currency”.

Dr William Bhatti, director, CMC, who is also a member of the school management committee extended his blessings and good to the students and staff. He said such endevaours make students self reliant and increases the urge to excel in life.

Principal Deepa Gupta said that this project provided valuable information to the students and would enable them in acheiving their futuristic goals. She said such projects act as morale booster for students.
