Ludhiana, February 5
The Department of Zoology, in collaboration with the National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM), Hyderabad, under the aegis of Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, organised a five-day training programme on ‘Vertebrate Pest Management’.
During this training, 20 extension specialists from the departments of agriculture and horticulture, MARKFED, PUNGRAIN and FCI of Punjab and from Department of Agriculture Himachal Pradesh, were trained in various management techniques of vertebrate pest management.
