Admissions begin in SCD Government College

Admissions to various undergraduate courses of Panjab University, Chandigarh (session 2019- 2020), are scheduled to begin from July 8. The merit list was of SCD Government College has been put on display online.

Dharam Singh Sandhu, principal of SCD Government College, said in every course 50 per cent seats have been reserved for general category, 25 per cent in SC categry and 10 per cent in OBC category. In addition to these, other reserved categories include Armed Forces, handicapped, riot- affected and teachers’ ward. The online application ensures total transparency in the admission process.

In case the students, who have made it to the merit list, fail to come on the specified date and time of admission, their seat would be passed on to the next in the merit list, said Sandhu.
