Admissions on at GCG

Ludhiana, June 10

The admission process is on at Government College for Girls from June 5. The prospectus will be available at the college for Rs50. The registration is done online and is free. There are 10 post-graduate departments in the college and it offers 26 subject options for students.

The 76-year-old college is the most sought after option for girls in the district. The college offers BA, BBA, BSc, BCom, BCA, PGDCA, PG Diploma in nutrition and dietetics, diploma in beauty and wellness, MCom, MSc in Botany, IT, MA in Punjabi, fine arts and music (instrumental).

Principal Savita Sharma said: “Students need to carefully go through the prospectus before filing the form online.”

Mehak, a Class XII pass out, said it was her dream to take admission to GCG, as not only her mother, but her grandmother has also studied from here. “I have crossed my fingers and registered myself online to hopefully get through the admission procedure,” she said.
