Trainees of Ashihara Karate Centre, Dugri, proved their supremacy by winning as many as 16 medals in the two-day state-level karate competition, which was held at Virk village, near Phagwara.
Over 205 participants drawn from all over the state took part in the meet. Competitors of different age groups vied for top honours during the contest.
Rudrakashi, a trainee from Ashihara Karate Centre, was declared the best karateka in the competition.
Those, who bagged medals in the two-day contest, include Aashmi, Dhariya, Rudrakshi, Manpriya Singh, Arshdeep, Rashmeet, Mithun, Akanksha, Jasmaria, Manya, Ramneet, Savita, Lalit, Gaganpreet, Arman and Simran.
