Athletics meet begins at Karamsar village

Mandi Ahmedgarh, Feb 15

The two-day 47th Athletic Meet of the Government College Karamsar (Rara Sahib) commenced at Karamsar village in Payal subdivision, near here, on Thursday.

Sant Baba Baljinder Singh of Gurdwara Rara Sahib inaugurated the event. The meet is being held under the aegis of the college Principal, Jaswant Singh.

The event convenor, Parkash Singh, said musical band of Sant Isher Singh Memorial Senior Secondary School led the march past presented by students and athletes of the host college. The college vice-principal, Nirmal Singh, presented a vote of thanks on the occasion.

The Payal MLA, Lakhvir Singh Lakha, will distribute prizes to winners on Friday.
