Ludhiana, May 15
The Lok Insaaf Party chief, Simarjeet Singh Bains, held roadshow in various parts of the city today. While addressing gatherings during roadshow in the Ludhiana North and Central Assembly constituencies, Bains appealed to the people to support him to end corruption.
The roadshow started from Haibowal and passed through Sangam Chowk, 22-feet Road, Civil City Road, Masjid Road, GT Road, Salem Tabri, Khajur Chowk, Jassian Road, Jalandhar byepass, Karabara Chowk and concluded at Jodhewal Basti. During the roadshow, Bains met representatives of various organisations and shopkeeper associations.
Meanwhile, Bains said he would raise the matter related to fraud committed by Pearl Company in parliament. Many people had become homeless after the company defrauded them, he added.
The people had invested life savings in the company, which did not return their money, he said.
