Phillaur, Ludhiana March 30
Justice Sudhir Mittal of Punjab and Haryana High Court visited the court complex at Phillaur today. On the occasion, he said bar and bench were two wheels of the same chariot which cannot move without cooperation of each other and both work to ensure justice to aggrieved.
He added that lawyers were facing problems in their day-to-day activities and judiciary was aware of it. Efforts would be made to resolve all the issues with cooperation of the Bar Association, he said.
Earlier, he along with Sessions Judge SK Garg, SDJM Harpreet Kaur were accorded warm welcome by the Phillaur Bar Association, president, Ashwani Kumar Boparai.
Justice Mittal was also honoured by the Bar Association.
Meanwhile, Justice Mahavir Sindhu of the Punjab and Haryana High Court inspected city courts today.
He was accorded a warm welcome by District and Sessions Judge Gurbir Singh. He visited almost all the city courts and heard suggestions.
