BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, has been listed as one of the top 10 Co-Ed Day Schools of India by the Education World India School Ranking 2017, on the basis of its academic reputation and showing Class XII board exam results.
The school is ranked 9th in the list, according to the school authorities. They said the school has figured in the list for the third consecutive time and that the school also ranked in the top 75 schools in India and first among the CBSE schools in Punjab.
The authorities said the Education Word Rankings was done on the basis of sample respondents data base of 12,367 educationists, principal, teachers, parents and students in 27 cities countrywide.
The interview of the respondents were conducted by 127 field staff of Delhi based C-fore to rate and rank all the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) schools of India on the basis of 14 parameters of education excellence — faculty competence, teacher welfare and development, academic reputation, co-curricular, education, sports education, infrastructure provision, leadership, internationalism, etc.
