Students of Guru Nanak Girls College proved their mettle in BCom 6th semester exam conducted by the Panjab University. Yashika Nagpal stood first in the college by obtaining 81.24 per cent. Pinky Saini ranked second in the college by scoring 80.73 per cent and Diksha Sehgal stood third with 78.32 per cent.
Ramgarhia Girls College
Students of Ramgarhia Girls College gave an outstanding performance in BCom 6th semester conducted by the Panjab University in May 2018. Manisha Kapoor topped the college by obtaining 75. 5 per cent, Sargun Plaha stood second with 73. 7 per cent and Gaganpreet Kaur and Simranjeet Kaur bagged third rank, respectively with 73. 5 per cent.
Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women
BCom 6th semester students of the Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women brought laurels. Komal Preet Kaur bagged first position in the college by obtaining 81.78 per cent. Gagandeep Kaur stood second in the college by scoring 81.38 per cent and Twinkle bagged third rank in the college with 80.78 per cent.
Bajaj College
Students of the Bajaj College exhibited outstanding performance in BCom 6th semester exam. Kshitij, Rajdeep and Mandeep secured first three ranks, respectively and all students who appeared in exam passed with flying colours.
Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management
Students of the Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana, exhibited great performance in BCom 6th semester exam conducted by the Panjab University (PU). Namya Jain bagged second position in the PU and first rank in Punjab. Jhanvi Gupta stood 11th in the varsity.
Kamla Lohtia SD College
BCom students of the Kamla Lohtia SD College, Ludhiana, proved their mettle in the PU semester exam conducted in May 2018. Kashish Sharma secured first position in the college by obtaining 77.73 per cent. Deepak Kumar with 77.46 per cent stood second and Divya ranked third with 77 per cent.
GNIMT students shine
Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GNIMT), Gujarkhan Campu’s, students brought laurels in MCA 6th semester exam conducted by the IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU). Manveen Kaur stood first with 8.76 Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) out of 10.00, Ramandeep Kaur stood second with 8.38 SGPA and Avneet Singh and Mohit Verma both stood third, respectively with 8.21 SGPA. Students attributed their success to extra efforts put in by their faculty and continous encouragement by the institute.
