Ludhiana, March 6
Member of Parliament (MP) Ravneet Singh Bittu today inaugurated development projects, mostly related to road infrastructure worth Rs 2 crore, in the Central constituency.
The MP said development works included construction of Bhagwan Valmiki Aashram worth Rs 65 lakh, carpeting of new roads in Ambedkar Colonies at a cost of Rs 48.65 lakh and road repairs at Textile Colony at a cost of Rs 90 lakh.
He said the Punjab Government was committed to the overall development of Ludhiana and it would leave no stone unturned to make it a world-class city of India.
Surinder Dawar, MLA, thanked the Punjab Government as well as Bittu for launching the projects which the local residents had been demanding for a long time.
