The Member of Parliament (MP) from Ludhiana, Ravneet Singh Bittu, has condoled the death of former Punjab Director General of Police (DGP), KPS Gill, who passed away at the age of 82 at a hospital in Delhi.

In a condolence message, Bittu said he was deeply saddened with the death of former police officer, who saved Punjab.

Remembering the departed soul, the MP said Gill had worked with his grandfather Beant Singh, a former Punjab Chief Minister, to end terrorism in the state. Sharing his grief with the family of the former DGP, Bittu said, “The contribution of KPS Gill cannot be forgotten.” — TNS
