Book with Punjabi songs released in city

A book of Punjabi songs titled “Panjaan Paania De Geet” was released in a function organised by Punjabi Lekhak Sabha and Indoz Punjabi Sahit Sabha Brisbane (Australia) at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT), here today.
The book was released by Dr SP Singh, former Vice- Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr SP Singh said, this book contains songs by five poets/lyricists each from Punjab (India) and Australia. He said this book would help in strengthening the Indo-Australia literary partnership.
This book contains songs by Prof Gurbhajan Gill, Amrik Talwandi, Manjinder Dhanoa, Trailochan Lochi and Harbans Malwa, Sarabjit Sohi, Atma Hayer, Kewal Dhillon, Surjit Sandhu and Pal Rauke.
Dr SP Singh said the GGN Khalsa College and its institutes would always be willing to tie up with organisations across the globe that are committed for the welfare of Punjabi language.
He said that talks are already going on with representatives of Punjab Bhawan in Surrey (Canada) and Indoz Punjabi Sahit Sabha in Brisbane (Australia).
