A creative blend of fashion textiles, interior and knitwear were showcased during the two-day 16th annual exhibition “Paridhanshilpa” organised by the first and second year design students of Pinnacle Institute of Fashion Technology (PIFT).
The exhibition provided a creative platform to students for displaying their talent, creativity to parents and industry at large. Creative garments designed, cut, stitched and ornamented by students of fashion, textile and knitwear design under the mentorship of the faculty were displayed during the exhibition.
A creative collection in kids and girls’ wear in different blend of fabrics, including cotton, georgette, chiffon, silk stuff, crafted in skirts, tops, suits, crop tops and designer suits was on display during the event.
There was a section displaying accessories made with waste material, including denim fabric into hand bags, sling bags, purses and footwear among other things. Budding designers also showcased their file work with different subject covering design aspects, motifs and theme.
Designers from the Interior Department made lamps and accessories with different wood material as add on to their models.
The annual exhibition was thronged by parents, friends of all students from all departments, architects, interior designers, industrialists from garment industry and the PIFT management.
Visitors appreciated designs, creative work of students and shared their experiences for better tomorrow.
