Ludhiana:Riya Goyal, a resident of BRS Nagar, secured All-India Rank 19 in the Chartered Accountant (CA) foundation exam, the results of which were declared on Friday. Goyal, who secured 95 per cent marks in Class XII, aspires to be an investment banker. She says: “I did a lot of hard work and used to study for 10-12 hours a day. The strategy of clearing the exam was to do smart work with focus. I drew inspiration from my uncle Prince Mittal. I just prepared for two months as I joined very late.” Mother Ritu Goyal is a housewife and father Vinay Goyal works at the GST Department. — TNS
