Car rams into ashram gate at Malakpur

A car was rammed into the gate of an ashram of Dera Sirsa situated at Malakpur village. A loud noise was heard when the incident happened. Some sewadars came out and found the gate broken. However, the car occupants had fled by the time along with the car.

Amrik Singh, a sewadar who was inside the ashram, said they were sleeping when they heard some loud noise. When they came out, they found the gate broken. Later, they informed the Khanna police about the incident. Sadar Khanna SHO Baljinder Singh said a police team was inquiring the matter and inspecting CCTV footage. The SHO said the car number was yet to be confirmed from the CCTV footage and they would act as per law after the inquiry.
