CII delegates on S’pore tour

Ludhiana, September 4

A delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), which is on an official tour of Singapore, interacted with the Singapore Business Federation.

Alan Tan Wing Wton, Director, Global Business Division of Singapore Business Federation said, “We do not have any kind of manufacturing in Singapore, it is done in neighbouring countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia etc.”

He said they emphasise more on training, teaching and future planninging and finance sector. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
