City lad to play for national U-19 team

Good news for sports lovers in the city, as a local upcoming cricketer Nehal Wadhera has been selected to represent the national team (U-19) during its forthcoming tour to Sri Lanka.
A product of the regional coaching centre run by the Ludhiana District Cricket Association, Nehal has been performing well for the last couple of years. A left-hand batsman, Nehal, who is a trainee of coach Charanjit Bhangu, has found a place in the national squad on the basis of his outstanding performance during the Inter-Zonal Cricket Tournament in Una.
Representing the ZCA, North, Nehal played a major role in helping his side to emerge as champions.
