City to host famed wrestling event

Ludhiana, January 29
The world famous Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) will organise a wrestling event in the city on March 2.
Dalip Singh Rana, better known by the ring name, The Great Khali, said it at a press meet held at International Public School, Sandhu Nagar, on Tuesday.
An Indian-American professional wrestler and actor, Khali, was in the city to finalise the venue for the upcoming event.
“More than 40 CWE superstars, including some international wrestlers, will be seen in action during the event. Ludhianvis and people from nearby places will have a life-time experience watching the event. The motive of holding the show is to create awareness about sports among the youth,” he said.
Khali interacted with the students and faculty. Students of the primary section were eager to see The Great Khali.
Balwinder Singh Sandhu, director, International Public School, along with school staff, honoured the wrestler and those accompanying him on this occasion.
