Ludhiana, December 18

Representatives of all district associations, affiliated with the Punjab Amateur Bodybuilding Association (PABBA), attended the executive committee meeting of the body held here yesterday. The meeting was chaired by Dr Deepak Prashar, general secretary, Indian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.

After the meeting, Dr Prashar said all representatives had assured to conduct the championships at the earliest. They were handed over affiliation certificates during the meeting, he added.

District associations were asked to gear up for the inaugural edition of the International Sheru Classic Bodybuilding Championship to be held in Ludhiana in February next year, he said.

Those who attended the meeting include Parminder Singh Chhinna from Ferozepur, Ravi Prashar from Ludhiana, Ranbir Saini from Hoshiarpur, Mohammad Akhtar from Sangrur, Surinder Dharmani from Nawanshahr, Bikramjeet Singh from Barnala, Varinder Kumar from Jalandhar, Pardeep Kumar from Muktsar, Rakesh Ricky from Faridkot, Surinder Kumar Ashu from Gurdaspur, Kartik from Jalandhar, Parminder Singh from Fatehgarh Sahib, Sandeep Sharma from Mohali, Kiranjit from Fazilka, Harsimran from Amritsar and Kirti from Tarn Taran.
