Civil hospital gets new SMO

Ludhiana, July 5
Dr Avinash Jindal has been appointed as a Senior Medical Officer (SMO) of the Civil Hospital, Ludhiana, while Dr Geeta, who was SMO presently, has been transferred to the Civil Hospital, Samrala.
Dr Jindal is a medicine specialist and currently posted at the Civil Hospital, Ludhiana.
Meanwhile, Dr Parwinder Pal Sidhu, who was earlier a civil surgeon, Ludhiana, and was demoted after he was found guilty of getting promotion allegedly on the basis of fake disability certificate, has been appointed as principal of the State Health and Family Welfare Training Centre, Mohali.
