Conference on production engineering

The second national conference on production engineering was inaugurated at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College. It was inaugurated by Bhupinder Singh Bhoop, vice-president nominee to Punjab University Senate and professor of pharma, and Surinder Bir Singh, ex-principal, GNDEC.
Welcoming the guests, conference coordinator Prof Rupinder Singh of production engineering said the annual conference would soon take the shape of an international conference. He also elaborated that over 70 papers were received for the conference of which only 40 were finalised after scrutiny and plagiarism check.
Jasmaninder Singh Grewal, HOD (Production) introduced the guests to the audience. Surinder Bir Singh said the day coincided with the martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur who had set the highest standards of human engineering. He exhorted the young scholars to imbibe the Guru’s teachings.
