DC honours students with distinction

Quality education is the need of the hour as there is a lot of competition and the students must strive hard, said Fatehgarh Sahib Deputy Commissioner Shivdular Singh Dhillon while addressing students of Saint Joseph’s School, Khamano, at a function of the school.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the students to respect the teachers as they were shaping their future.
He also asked the teachers to be responsible so that their students are able to achieve new heights in future.
The Deputy Commissioner inaugurated the function by lightening of the lamp. Later, students presented giddha, bhangra, skits, choreography and other items.
The DC also honoured students for achievements and also the participants in the function. School director Jagminder Singh Bhangu welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and other guests.
Former chairman of the Zila Parishad, Baljit Singh Bhutta, member Parveen Rana and senior Congress leader Harbans Singh Pandher were present on the occasion.
